Arno Kosmata

Arno Kosmata (born January 21, 1963 ) is an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and police officer. Kosmata was a member of the Salzburg state parliament from 2004 to 2013 .

Kosmata is police district commander in Pinzgau and city councilor of Sankt Johann im Pongau . In 2003 he took over the office of SPÖ district chairman in Pongau . In the 2004 state elections, he took fourth place on the regional constituency list. Kosmata was sworn in as a member of the Salzburg state parliament on April 28, 2004, and on December 13, 2007, he succeeded as deputy club chairman. Kosmata was the area spokesman for security and traffic until 2009 and has since been responsible for the judiciary's agendas. In the state elections in 2009 Kosmata ran behind Governor Gabi Burgstaller in second place on the SPÖ candidate list in Pongau.

Kosmata is married and has two children.
