Arnold Canisius

Arnold Wilhelm Ludwig Thomas Canisius (born September 19, 1833 in Nordenbeck ; † February 2, 1890 there ) was a German landowner and politician .

Canisius was the son of the landowner Thomas Kaspar Friedrich Canisius and his wife Wilhelmine nee Leist. He married Sophia Lex on November 26, 1864 in Werl. He was a landowner in Nordenbeck. From October 31, 1865 to 1871, he was a member of the state parliament of the Principality of Waldeck-Pyrmont . He was elected for the constituency of the Eisenberg district.
