Arnold Dietrich Schröder

Jacob Arnold Dietrich Schröder (born February 19, 1770 in Neumünster , † June 16, 1831 in Wandsbek ) was a German pastor .

He ran a pension institution in Wandsbek. Karl Wilhelm Asher (* 1798) and William Lindley were among his students .

His second marriage was on October 26, 1819, with Caroline Rebekka (1784-1835), a daughter of Rebecca and Matthias Claudius . They had seven large children and one small child; including Matthias Schröder; Andreas Theodor Albertus Schröder and Lilla Elise Schröder. Lilla had married the pastor Karl Gottfreid Schmidt in Wefelsfleth in 1828 and was soon widowed. He and his wife are buried next to Claudius.
