Arnold Gfeller
Arnold Gfeller (born September 26, 1902 in Basel ; † August 5, 1978 in Basel) was a Swiss architect and politician ( LdU ).
Life
With his buildings, Gfeller significantly shaped the cityscape of Basel . From 1938 to 1955 he was for the Landesring der Independent in the Grand Council of Basel-Stadt , from 1939 to 1943 and 1951 to 1959 in the National Council .
He was also a colonel in the general staff and a painter in Montagnola .
