Arnold Rossfeld

Arnold Roßfeld (* before 1688, † after 1690) was a Dutch sculptor .

life and work

In 1688 Roßfeld went from Bonn to Hanover in order to manufacture lead figures for the garden theater in Herrenhaufen in connection with the building of the palace in the Great Garden in 1689 and 1690 . During this period he received a salary of 400 thalers . "The sandstone figures for the royal bush and the parterre (pleasure piece) there" are presumably also to be owed to his work.
