Aron Beyene

Aron Beyene (born May 27, 1985 in Eritrea ) is a Swiss athlete specializing in the sprint .

Aron Beyene starts for Stade Genève . He first attracted attention at the Swiss Championships in 2006 when he finished second in the 200-meter run . In the next few years he was particularly successful in the hall. At the Swiss Indoor Championships in 2007 he finished second over 200 meters and won the title in 2009 and 2010. By performing well in the 2010 outdoor season, he qualified for the Swiss team at the 2010 European Athletics Championships in Barcelona . There Beyene was only used in the 4 x 100 meter relay , which took fourth place in the line-up of Pascal Mancini , Aron Beyene, Reto Schenkel and Marc Schneeberger with a time of 38.69 s with a new Swiss record. His current best performances in the 100 and 200 meter races were both in the 2010 season.

Aron Beyene is 1.77 m tall and his competition weight is 73 kg.
