Aron Sigfrid Forsius

Aron Sigfrid Forsius (* 1569 in Finland ; † 1624 ) was a Finnish astronomer and priest .

Life

The asteroid (3223) Forsius is named after him. In 1611 he published the first drawn color system with the primary colors red , yellow , green and blue ; the sketch is interpreted as a sphere.
