The Arroyo Chiflero is a river in northern Uruguay .
It rises in the area of the Department Artigas in the Cuchilla Yacaré Cururú a few kilometers southwest of the department capital Artigas . From there it flows first in a north-easterly direction, then in a northerly direction, passing under Ruta 30 or the railway line between Artigas and Javier de Viana . It flows a few kilometers northwest of Artigas and a few hundred meters upstream from Paso de la Isla as a left tributary into the Río Cuareim .
