Arthouros Akritidis
Arthouros Akritidis (born January 2, 1986 ) is a Greek weightlifter .
Career
Akritidis was vice European champion in 2003 in Dortmund . In 2007 he reached seventh place in the class up to 56 kg at the European Championships . At the world championships in the same year he was eleventh. During a training check in 2008 Akritidis, like ten other members of the Greek national team, tested positive and was then banned for two years. After his suspension, he was ninth in the class up to 62 kg at the 2012 European Championships . In 2013 he finished fifth in a duel at the European Championships in Tirana and won the bronze medal in jerking. At the Mediterranean Games in the same year he was fourth.
