Arthur Sydney Tabor

Arthur Sydney Tabor (born November 9, 1852 in Trent , Middlesex County , † October 14, 1927 in London ) was an English cricket and tennis player.

Life

Tabor was born in Trent, north of London , in 1852 . He studied at Eton College of Cambridge University and became a member of the local cricket team. In total, he took part in 28 first-class cricket matches by 1878 .

He played at the Wimbledon Championships between 1878 and 1880 , but never got past the second round.

From 1891 to 1920 Tabor was principal of the Cheam School in London. He died in Earls Court, London, in 1926 at the age of 74 .
