Artis Caics (born October 13, 1985 in Valmiera ) is a Latvian beach volleyball player .
Career
Caics was fifth in 2002 with Toms Šmēdiņš at the U18 World Cup in Xylokastro . At the beginning of 2009 Caics appeared again in Novi Sad with Šmēdiņš and won the Challenger tournament. At the 2010 European Championships in Berlin, the two Latvians lost to their compatriots Samoilovs / Sorokins in the preliminary round and were eliminated as the bottom of the group. In 2011 they did not get beyond the preliminary round at the European Championships in Kristiansand .
After a three-year break, Caics has been sporadically back to national tournaments since 2015.
