Artjom Kurbatow ( Georgian არტიომ კურბატოვ , Russian Артём Курбатов ; born April 11, 1994 ) is a Georgian ice hockey player who has been playing in the Georgian ice hockey league for the Fiery Crusaders Tbilisi since 2015 .

Career

Kurbatow has played with the Fiery Crusaders Tbilisi in the Georgian ice hockey league since the beginning of his career .

International

Kurbatov made his debut for the Georgian national team at the World Cup Division III in 2016 . A year later he finished the tournament of Division III 2018 as the best defender, best goal maker, with the best plus / minus balance and (together with his compatriot Ivan Sharchev ) as the second best scorer behind his compatriot Artyom Kosjulin and consequently became the best player elected his team. At the 2018 World Cup , when the Georgians were promoted to Division II for the first time, he achieved the best plus / minus balance of the tournament.
