KK Artoon ( Japanese 株式会社 ア ー ト ゥ ー ン Kabushiki kaisha Ātūn ) was a game developer founded in 1999. The company has been associated primarily with Xbox and Xbox 360 projects in the United States , although the team also has Hudson Soft and Nintendo worked together. Employees included Yoji Ishi, Manabu Kusunoki, Hidetoshi Takeshita, Yutaka Sugano, Masamichi Harada, Takuya Matsumoto, and Naoto Ōshima . Up out of business had artoon about 85 employees.
In 2010, some employees left the team to start a new company, Arzest , so the business went out of business.
Artoon was based in Yokohama ( Japan ). A second studio was in Naha .
