KK Arzest ( Japanese 株式会社 ア ー ゼ ス ト , Kabushiki kaisha Āzesuto , English Arzest Corp. ) is a Japanese game developer that develops video games for game consoles . The company was founded on June 25, 2010 by employees of the former game developer Artoon , including Naoto Ōshima , known as the character designer of Sonic and his opponent Dr. Eggman, founded. Arzest was also founded by Sega members who worked on the Panzer Dragoon video game series.

Career

Not much is known about the company to date other than working on some mini-games for the Wii released by Nintendo , such as Wii Play: Motion . According to the credits, many employees at former game developer Artoon joined the company. Recently worked Arzest of new features for pre-installed Nintendo 3DS - Apps StreetPass Mii Plaza , SpotPass , Puzzle Swap and more. Via an update on their website on March 21, 2013, the company announced that they were working on character designs for the video game Time Travelers for the 3DS, PlayStation Portable and PlayStation Vita . Nintendo hired Arzest to develop their new Nintendo 3DS game Yoshi's New Island , which was released on March 14, 2014 in North America and Europe .
