Artschil Arweladze ( Georgian არჩილ არველაძე; born February 22, 1973 in Tbilisi ) is a former Georgian football player . The UEFA spelling of his name is Archil Arveladze .
Artschil Arweladze has played for many clubs in Europe . After initially playing for Martve Tbilisi , the striker moved to the major club Iberia / Dinamo Tbilisi . In 1993 he ventured abroad. He moved to Trabzonspor in Turkey . He was active there for four years. Then he signed a contract with NAC Breda in the Netherlands , now a national player . In 2000 he moved to the right in the Bundesliga returned 1. FC Köln . His time in Germany was not a happy one. Many injuries threw him back again and again and took him away from the possible regular place at FC, where his brother Rewas Arweladse had already played in the 1993/94 season . Artschil's twin brother Schota Arweladze was also a professional footballer. In 2003 Artschil left Germany and went back to his Georgian homeland to Dinamo Tbilisi.
