Artur Braun
Artur Braun (born June 24, 1925 in Frankfurt am Main ; † November 3, 2013 ) was a German engineer and entrepreneur .
Together with his brother Erwin , Artur Braun managed the electrical appliance manufacturer Braun, founded by his father Max , from 1951 until it was sold to Gillette (today part of Procter & Gamble ) in 1967.
Artur Braun was involved in the development of products such as the Braun SK 1 radio (1954), the Braun SK 4 radio / turntable combination (1956, colloquially known as the "Snow White's coffin ") and the Braun Sixtant SM 31 electric shaver (1962).
