Artur Heinrich

Artur Heinrich (born June 12, 1904 in Rügheim ; † July 15, 1975 there ) was a German politician ( FDP ).

Life and work

Heinrich was a farmer by profession and ran a farm in his home town of Rügheim. From 1940 to 1945 he took part in the Second World War as a soldier and was taken prisoner by the British towards the end of the war. After his release, he was interned for another two years. In addition to his farming activities, he had been a representative of the Rügheim land consolidation cooperative since 1950.

Heinrich was a board member of the Volkach-Haßfurt fruit wholesale market. He was honorary chairman of the sports club Rügheim and district chairman of the VdK in the Hofheim district . He was awarded the Bavarian Order of Merit on December 7, 1964 for his services .

politics

Heinrich was involved in the FDP, for which he was a member of the Bavarian state parliament from 1954 to 1966 and from 1970 to 1974 . There he was particularly involved in the Committee on Food and Agriculture. In addition, he was a member of the district council until the Hofheim district was dissolved in 1972, where he was also temporarily deputy district administrator. Subsequently, he belonged to the district council of the Haßberge district until his death .
