Luke Christians
Lukas Christen (* 1966 ) is a former Swiss disabled athlete who lives in Sempach .
In 1987, when he was 21, Christen lost his left leg in a motorcycle accident. Parallel to his business studies, he got into handicapped sports , where he was active as a track and field athlete in the above-knee amputees category. He competed in the disciplines 100 , 200 meters and long jump as well as in the all-around competition . In 2000 Christen was voted Swiss Disabled Sportsman of the Year .
In 2005 Lukas Christen resigned from top-class sport. Since then he has been working as an independent management consultant , management trainer and leadership coach.

- Summer Paralympics 1992 : 2 × silver (100 m, 200 m)
- World Cup 1994 : 3 × gold (100 m, 200 m, long jump)
- Summer Paralympics 1996 : 3 × gold (100 m, 200 m, long jump)
- EM 1997: 3 × gold (100 m, 200 m, 400 m)
- World Cup 1998 : 2 × gold (200 m, long jump)
- 1999: JWB in long jump (5.40 m)
- Summer Paralympics 2000 : 2 × gold (200 m, long jump), 1 × silver (100 m)
- 2003: WR 1000 m (4: 04.84 min), WR in pentathlon (3872 points)
