Artur Noga
Artur Noga (born May 2, 1988 in Racibórz ) is a Polish athlete . He starts as a 110 m hurdler .
Career
Artur Noga started out with athletics in the city of his birth. He still starts today for the MKS-SMS “Victoria” Racibórz club. His first international success was winning the gold medal at the World Junior Athletics Championships in Beijing in 2006 . In 2007 he became Junior European Champion in Hengelo, the Netherlands . In 2008 he should stand for the first time at the IAAF World Indoor Championships in Valencia in the squad of the Polish national team, but this was prevented by an injury. In August of the same year he took part in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where he reached the final run in his discipline. He moved into this final with a personal best of 13.34 seconds. In the final he reached fifth place with 13.36 seconds.
At the World Athletics Championships in Berlin in 2009 , he was eliminated in the semifinals. A year later he reached the final at the European Athletics Championships 2010 in Barcelona and was fifth. In London , at the 2012 Olympic Games , he was the last stop before the first hurdle when he had to give up due to an injury.
