Arvis Liepiņš (born March 18, 1990 in Madona ) is a Latvian cross-country skier .

Career

Liepiņš has mainly participated in the Scandinavian Cup since 2008. He ran his first World Cup race in January 2009 in Otepää , which he finished with 70th place in the sprint. His best placement at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2009 in Liberec was 69th place over 15 km classic. At the Nordic World Ski Championships 2011 in Oslo , he finished 75th over 15 km classic. He reached 87th place over 15 km freestyle at the Nordic World Ski Championships in 2013 in Val di Fiemme . His best result at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi was 59th place in the 50 km mass start race. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Falun in 2015 , he finished 58th in the 15 km freestyle.
