The Asan Foun ( German  Neu-Asan ) is a freshwater lagoon near the south coast of East Timor . It is located on the border of the Sucos Maudemo and Suco Casabauc ( Tilomar administrative office , Cova Lima municipality ). The lagoon has an area of ​​about 5 hectares.

The fauna of the lagoon includes saltwater crocodiles and imported apple snails (Ampullariidae). The bank is covered with sago palms , reeds and casuarinas . There are water lilies on the lagoon .
