Ash mining
The so-called ash mine in Obbach , a district of the municipality of Euerbach in the Lower Franconian district of Schweinfurt , was built in 1698. The half-timbered house is a protected architectural monument .

The two-storey gable roof building has an upper storey with ornamental framework.
In 2011, Susanne and Franz Hess received the Monument Protection Medal of the Free State of Bavaria for the exemplary renovation of the monument.
