Sir Ashley Fox (born November 15, 1969 in Sutton Coldfield ) is a British Conservative Party politician and has been a member of the European Parliament since 2009 .

After studying law at Bristol Polytechnic (now the University of the West of England ), which he completed in 1990 with an LL.B. Fox worked as an English teacher in France for a year. He then finished his studies at Chester Law College in 1992 and worked as a trainee lawyer from 1992 to 1994 and as a lawyer from 1994 to 2009 .

In the British general election in 2001, Fox ran for the Conservative Party in Bath , but was unsuccessful. In 2002 he became a member of Bristol City Council . In the European elections in the United Kingdom in 2009 , Fox was elected to the European Parliament . Here he is a member of the European Conservatives and Reformists Group and Vice-Chairman of the Committee on Constitutional Affairs . He is also a member of the delegation for relations with the Arabian Peninsula . As deputy Fox is in the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs , the Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection and in the delegation for relations with the People's Republic of China .

Ashley Fox is married with a son and a daughter.
