The Askoll EVA SpA is an Italian manufacturer of electric bikes , electric scooters , electric kits and components. The company is majority owned by the Italian Askoll Group, which manufactures electric motors and pumps for washing machines and other household appliances worldwide .

history

Askoll EVA was founded in 2014 by its owner, Elio Marioni, after two years of preparatory development work within the parent company. The first e-bike and scooter models came out in 2015.

In 2016, the company presented the prototype of a two-seater microcar (Askoll Elò ). The parent company sold one of its plants to finance Askoll EVA's activities.

In 2017 the Austrian Post ordered Askoll electric scooters for their delivery service. A collaboration was agreed with the Italian scooter sharing provider MiMoto .

In 2018, Askoll EVA stopped its microcar project and went public. In the same year a partnership with the Spanish scooter sharing provider eCooltra began . In 2019 Askoll EVA presented a series of e-bike drives that are also sold to other manufacturers.
