Aspudden is an underground station on the Stockholm Metro . It is located in the Aspudden district of the same name . The station is served by the Röda linjen of the Stockholm metro system . It is one of the less frequented stations on the underground network. On a normal working day, 5,000 commuters get on and off here.

The station was put into operation on April 5, 1964 as the 52nd station of the Tunnelbana, when the first section of the Röda linjen between T-Centralen and Örnsberg was inaugurated. The platforms are about 15-20 meters below ground. The station is located between the Liljeholmen and Örnsberg stations . It is about five kilometers to Stockholm Central Station .
