The Association of the European Heating Industry (EHI) is the branch association of the European heating industry based in Brussels . The association emerged in 2002 from the merger of the professional associations for heating burners (CEB), boilers (EBA) and gas-water heaters (AFECI) and today consists of 40 large companies in the heating industry, 13 national associations and the Swiss EU-ray as European professional association for surface heating . EHI represents 90% of the European market for heat and hot water generators, heating control technology and radiant heaters ( radiators and underfloor heating ). The operational work is carried out by the secretariat under Secretary General Federica Sabbati and by representatives of the members in the 13 departments.

The national associations include the Federal Association of the German Heating Industry (BDH), the Association of Austrian Boiler Suppliers (VÖK) and GebäudeKlima Schweiz (GKS).

The association represents its goals and the interests of its members with regard to energy efficiency, consumer information, environmental and climate protection and product standardization vis-à-vis the EU Commission and other organs of the EU and national legislators and is active in various standardization bodies. In addition, he represents these interests in the media, with workshops, at conferences and trade fairs and other events, also outside of Europe. A special focus is the exchange of experiences, the discussion of common standards and the cooperation with China within the framework of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China.

The Association of the European Heating Industry is registered under No. 95685068542-71 in the European Transparency Register.
