Association of Left Publishers
The Association of Left Publishers (aLiVe) is an association of small publishers that has existed since 1994. What these publishers have in common is their self-positioning as part of social movements and a left culture. The association was founded economically with the aim of being able to survive together on the book market influenced by concentration processes through cooperation. ALiVe is based at Alibri-Verlag in Aschaffenburg .
Priorities of the aLiVe
ALiVe would like to support the specific common content of the associated publishers. The publishers agreed on a common focus, which consisted , for example, in supporting the campaign for the release of the African-American journalist Mumia Abu-Jamal .

Alive publishing delivery
The aLiVe publishing house was founded in 1997 as a joint delivery service for the Association of Linker Publishers (aLiVe). It sees itself as an "alternative for smaller publishers who actually cannot or do not want to afford a delivery" and looks after seven publishers with more than 500 available titles.
The headquarters of the aLiVe publishing house are located at the butterfly publishing house in Stuttgart .
