Asta Dambrauskaitė
Asta Dambrauskaitė (* 1976 ) is a Lithuanian lawyer, civil lawyer , professor at the Law Faculty of the Mykolo Romerio universitetas (MRU).
Life
After graduating from the 9th Middle School in Vilnius in 1994, Asta Dambrauskaitė completed a degree in law from 1994 to 1999 at the Faculty of Law of the Vilniaus universitetas and obtained a doctorate in comparative law at the MRU in 2006 on the subject of "Sandorių pripažinimo negaliojančiais teisinės jūzuvosėis teisuvosės prietskmosės aspektai ".
From 1998 to 1999 she was a consultant in the law firm " Zabiela ir partneriai" konsultantė, and from 2010 to 2011 she was vice dean of the law faculty of the MRU. She has been teaching at the MRU since 2004. Since 2012 she has been a professor at the chair for civil law at the law faculty of the MRU. In 2012 she was proposed by President Dalia Grybauskaitė as a candidate for judge at the General Court of the European Union , but was rejected by the European Selection Committee.
Her mother is Genovaitė Dambrauskienė (* 1940), labor lawyer, professor of private law at the MRU University.
