Asta von Mallinckrodt-Haupt , also Malinkrodt, (* as Auguste Stephanie von Haupt, November 27, 1896 in Bamberg ; † June 23, 1960 in Cologne ) was a German dermatologist .

Asta von Mallinckrodt-Haupt, the daughter of the District Court Counselor Stephan von Haupt, studied medicine in Berlin from 1915 with the state examination in 1921 and subsequent specialist training in dermatology at the Charité under Franz Blumenthal . In 1922 she received her doctorate in Berlin at Blumenthal with the dissertation Contribution to the question of the immunity phenomena in hyphomycete diseases (grade very good). With Blumenthal, she wrote the chapter on serodiagnostics of syphilis in Josef Jadassohn's Handbook of Skin and Venereal Diseases in 1929 . In 1922 she married the chief forester Johann Dietrich von Mallinckrodt in Bamberg, with whom she had two daughters and three sons. She stayed at the Charité Dermatology Clinic until 1924 and then moved from Potsdam (where she had lived since 1922) to Daun in the Eifel because of her husband's job . She completed a traineeship with Erich Hoffmann in Bonn from 1928 to 1930 and was assistant to Theo Schreuss at the Dermatology Clinic of the Medical Academy in Düsseldorf in 1930 , where she qualified as a professor in 1932 ( The metabolism of pathogenic skin fungi and its connection with the pathogeny of mycoses ) and lecturer at the Medical Academy. From 1931 she was also a resident doctor in Brühl. In 1939 she completed her habilitation in Cologne, where she became a private lecturer and, in 1941, an extraordinary professor in Cologne, making her the first female professor of dermatology in Germany. She was also responsible for the district administration in Cologne / Aachen and was involved in the fight against alcohol and tobacco and published in 1938 on the fight against prostitution. In 1950/51 she founded a private clinic for skin diseases in Brühl and ran it until 1959 when she suffered a heart attack.

Asta von Mallinckrodt-Haupt dealt primarily with fungal diseases of the skin.

She is the mother of the toxicologist Marika Geldmacher-von Mallinckrodt .
