The Astapenko Glacier is a glacier in the Bowers Mountains in the East Antarctic Victoria Land , that of the northern and northwestern slopes of Stanwix peak east-northeast to Ob 'Bay flows.
It was mapped by surveying work by the United States Geological Survey and with the help of aerial photographs by the United States Navy between 1960 and 1962. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it after the Soviet meteorologist Pawel D. Astapenko, who started in the course of the International Geophysical Year 1958 at the Little America V research station.
