Asterides

Asterides ( ancient Greek Ἀστερίδης Asterídēs ) is one of the 50 sons of Aigyptus , the twin brother of Danaos , in Greek mythology , and is therefore one of the Aegyptiads .

According to the poorly preserved, incomplete list of 47 of 50 Danaid pairings in the fabulae of Hyginus Mythographus , he was killed by his wife Chrysothemis on their wedding night .
