description

The Astra 3000 self-loading pistol is 160 mm long and has a barrel length of 98 mm. The magazine can be loaded with 7 cartridges of the model caliber 7.65 Browning (.32 ACP) or 6 cartridges in caliber 9 × 17 mm (.380 ACP). There is a charge indicator at the end of the sled. The magazine lock engages on the magazine floor on models up to 1953; then the latch was placed on the left side of the handle behind the trigger.

history

The Astra 3000 is the successor to the Astra 300 , a pistol that was used in World War II . Production of the Astra 3000 began in 1948. In 1956 the Astra 3000 was replaced by the successor Astra 4000 . Up to this point, 44,000 copies of this weapon had been produced.
