Astrid Deixler-Huebner

Astrid Deixler-Hübner , née Deixler , (* 1958 in Linz ) is an Austrian lawyer and professor at the University of Linz .

Life

Deixler-Hübner grew up in Linz as the daughter of a lawyer and a high school teacher. She graduated from the grammar school of the Kreuzschwestern Linz and studied law in Linz and Vienna. She then worked as a university assistant at the University of Linz, where she completed her habilitation in 1992. Since 2013 she has been head of the Institute for European and Austrian Civil Procedure Law.

Deixler-Hübner is the author of textbooks and specialist publications on family and civil procedural law. She was also a guest lecturer at the Universities of Vienna , Berlin and Istanbul . She is co-founder and chairwoman of the Austrian Society for Family and Property Law.
