Astrid Ruckaberle

Astrid Ruckaberle (born May 31, 1980 in Weil im Schönbuch ) is a former German art cyclist and world champion in single art cycling .

Career

Astrid Ruckaberle has been active in artificial cycling since 1988 and started for the RV Weil im Schönbuch . In the years 2000, 2001 and 2003 she became world champion in single-art cycling for women and in 2002 she was vice world champion. She was junior European champion three times and German champion seven times . She also won numerous national titles.

At the end of 2003 she ended her sporting career and returned to her trained profession as a teacher .
