Astrid Stadler (born May 11, 1961 in Arzl im Pitztal ) is an Austrian politician ( Austrian People's Party ). She was a member of the National Council from 2000 to 2008 .

Education and professional career

Astrid Stadler attended elementary school in Arzl im Pitztal from 1967 to 1971; the secondary school in Imst-Unterstadt from 1971 to 1975 and then switched to the music-pedagogical secondary school in Zams , where she graduated in 1979 with the Matura . From 1979 to 1981 she studied pharmacy at the University of Innsbruck . She then worked for Hypo Bank Innsbruck until 1986 and ran a guesthouse from 1992 to 1995.

In 2010 she was elected Vice President of the Sports Union. In 2013, he was elected chairman of the Federal Sports Conference, the governing body of the Federal Sports Promotion Fund. From June 2014 to April 21, 2015 she was President of the Austrian Bobsleigh and Skeleton Association (ÖBSV).

  • since 1996: District Leader of the Austrian Women's Movement, Imst District
  • 2000–2008: Member of the National Council

Private

Astrid Stadler is widowed and the mother of two children.
