Astro Zombies is a psychobilly band from Dijon , France .

history

In the late 1990s, during their beginnings in Burgundy , France , the band Astro Zombies quickly made a name for themselves on the national psychobilly scene. The first tours with big names like The Meteors or Misfits also testified to this . Her debut album The Astro Zombies are Coming from 1997 was recorded in the legendary recording studio In Heaven in the Pyschobilly scene. This belongs to The Meteors co- founder Paul P. Fenech and was equivalent to an accolade of the scene. After a guest appearance by the band members Bobby and Gaybeul on a side project of Fenech, the second album Control Your Minds followed in 2000 . In 2003, Mutilate Torture Kill was followed by the third studio album. After this album Bastien left the band and was replaced by Thomas "Fantomas" Frenchy, who had previously played with the Kings of Nuthin and Frantic Flintstones. After the live album in 2007 Gaybeul left the band and was replaced by Mad Man Markus. The fourth studio album Convinde or Confuse , released in 2009, was recorded with him. Then the line-up of Astro Zombies changed again, so Frenchy passed the bass on to Mark Carew. In 2011 the fifth album From Strength to Strength was released on the label I Sold My Soul Media .
