Atesmerius
Atesmerius or Adsmerius is the name of a Celtic god who, according to the Interpretatio Romana, is equated with Mercurius .
Atesmerius is mentioned in two dedicatory inscriptions , one from Meaux ( Iatinum / Fixtinnum , Roman province Lugdunensis ), the capital of the Gallic tribe of the Meldi , the other from Poitiers ( Limonum , Roman province Aquitania ), where it occurs in the spelling Adsmerius .
The name of a female deity Atesmerta can be read on a consecration inscription in a forest near the former 1918 Templar - Commanderie Corgebin ( Haute-Marne was found) (ILTG 414) - see also Fund card at Rosmerta .
