Athina Papafotiou (born August 23, 1989 in Marousi ) is a Greek volleyball player .

Career

Papafotiou started her career in 2010 with Panathinaikos Athens and became Greek champion with the club in 2011. She repeated the success a year later with her new club AEK Athens . In 2014, she switched to the German Bundesliga club Allianz MTV Stuttgart . With the club, she won the DVV Cup in the 2014/15 season and was runner-up . Then she went to the French first division club ASPTT Mulhouse . In 2017 she won the French championship. In the 2017/18 season she played in the Italian league for Imoco Volley Conegliano and was also champion there. Then Papafotiou returned to ASPTT Mulhouse. In 2019/20 she was active again in Italy, this time at Lardini Filottrano . Then Stuttgart brought the Greek back to the Bundesliga.
