Athleticum Markets AG is a Swiss company in the sporting goods retail . It is a subsidiary of Maus Frères Holding from Geneva and was founded in 1995. Various branches are operated in Switzerland. Each branch has its own service workshop where sports equipment is maintained.

In spring 2018, a Decathlon point of sale is to be opened in an Athleticum branch in Geneva . The partnership also provides for all Athleticum branches to be renamed Decathlon in the future. As a result, the two Swiss industry leaders Ochsner Sport and SportXX should come under greater pressure. The name change will last until the end of 2019.
