The Atkinson Glacier is a glacier in East Antarctica, Victoria Land . In the Admiralty Mountains it flows between the Findlay Range and the Lyttelton Range in a northerly direction to the Dennistoun Glacier .
The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1983 after William Atkinson, mechanic and field research assistant of the geological team of the New Zealand Antarctic Research Program , which worked in the area of the glacier between 1981 and 1982 under the direction of Robert Hamish Findlay.
