Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway
The Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway is a 4,800 km coastal waterway along the Atlantic and Gulf Coasts in the United States . It stretches from Florida to Boston , Massachusetts and is used for both commercial and recreational purposes. Use of the waterway is free, but commercial users pay a so-called fuel tax .
The Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway is made up of natural canals, saltwater rivers, bays and man-made canals.
