Atsushi Kawata ( Japanese 河田 篤 秀 , Kawata Atsushi ; born September 18, 1992 in Osaka Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .
Career
Atsushi Kawata learned to play football in the university team of Hannan University . He signed his first contract with Albirex Niigata in Singapore in 2015 . The club is an offshoot of the Japanese club Albirex Niigata , which played in the first division of Singapore, the S. League . In 2016 he became champion and won the Singapore Cup and the League Cup . In 2017 he moved to the parent club for 2 years. The club played in the highest Japanese league, the J1 League . At the end of 2017 he was relegated to the second division with Albirex Niigata. In 2019 he signed a contract with league rivals Tokushima Vortis in Tokushima .
