Atsushi Mio ( Japanese 美 尾 敦 Mio Atsushi ; born January 26, 1983 in Kanagawa Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Mio learned to play soccer on Shonan Bellmare's youth team . He signed his first contract in 2001 with Ventforet Kofu . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . For the club he completed 33 league games. In 2002 he moved to the first division club Kyoto Purple Sanga (today: Kyoto Sanga FC). At the end of the 2003 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League. In 2005 he was with the club master of the J2 League and rose again to the J1 League . At the end of the 2006 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League. For the club he completed 94 league games. In 2008 he moved to league competitor Ventforet Kofu. For the club he completed 52 league games. In 2010 he moved to third division club Gainare Tottori . In 2010 he was with the club master of the Japan Football League and rose to the J2 League. For the club he completed 102 league games. In 2013 he moved to league rivals FC Gifu . For the club he completed 50 league games. At the end of 2014, he ended his career as a football player.
