Atte Hoivala (born February 10, 1992 ) is a Finnish soccer player who currently plays for the Kuopion PS in the Veikkausliiga . He is the son of the Finnish volleyball coach Timo Hoivala .

Hoivala made his professional debut on April 18, 2009, on the 1st matchday of the 2009 season, when he came on as a substitute for Ilja Venäläinen in the 76th minute of the 5-1 loss to HJK Helsinki . By the end of the season he made 11 more appearances, with the last 5 match days being on the starting line-up. He also played two games in the Suomen Cup .

Hoivala is currently in the squad of the Finnish U-19 national team, for which he made his debut on August 11, 2009. In the friendly against the Swedish U-19s he played from the start and was substituted for Juuso Salonen in the 60th minute . In his second game, in the 1: 2 defeat against Russia, he scored the next goal in the 90th minute.
