Attila Szabó (* 1988 ) is a former Hungarian duathlete , triathlete and Hungarian triathlon champion on the long distance (2013).

Career

In 2010, Attila Szabó finished seventh at the Aquathlon World Championships U23 in Budapest. In 2012 he started the long-distance triathlon for the first time (3.8 km swimming, 180 km cycling and 42.2 km running).

In 2013 he won the Austria Triathlon in Podersdorf in the half distance (1.9 km swimming, 90 km cycling and 21 km running) and in the same year he became the Hungarian champion in the long distance triathlon.

In April 2014 he became Vice State Champion on the Duathlon short distance and in July Vice State Champion on the Triathlon long distance. In 2015 he finished 22nd in Sweden at the Triathlon World Championships on the long distance.

Attila Szabó has not appeared internationally since 2015.
