The Aucellina Point is a headland on the south coast of South Georgia . It is located 2.5 km southeast of Cape Rosa on the north shore of Queen Maud Bay .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named them in 1982 after mussels of the genus Aucellina , the fossils of which had been discovered in the vicinity of this headland.
