Fun too was the title of a children's program on ORF . The series was broadcast mostly on Tuesdays in about 250 episodes from 1978-1989.
The presenter of the show, which was originally supposed to be presented by the then very popular cabaret artist Maxi Böhm , was Herbert Prikopa , whereby his name was always displayed with Herbert "Happi" Prikopa . The program mainly showed short films, such as excerpts from thick and doof films, Charlie Chaplin , " The Three Stooges " or " The Little Rascals ". Short cartoons such as “ The Little Mole ” or “ Lolek and Bolek ”, as well as the puppet cartoons Pat and Mat , were shown regularly .
The theme music was "Holiday for Strings" by Spike Jones .
The program was shown on a weekly basis, alternating with the “ Sendung mit der Maus ”, the compilation of the contributions and the studio direction for both programs was in the hands of ORF director Manfred Winter for years .
