Audio Kollaps is a band from Hanover , whose music is a mixture between Grindcore , Hardcore Punk and Death Metal .

history

Audio Kollaps is a successor to the Hardcore / Crustcore band Recharge . The group was founded in 1998 with the aim of taking the legacy of Recharge into even more extreme musical realms. In January 2000, a split EP with Wolfbrigade from Sweden and a song for a Finnish Rattus Tribute compilation were recorded. In August 2000 the video clip for the song 5 to 12 was filmed, as well as a video of a live gig at the release party. In March 2001, Audio Kollaps went to Sweden to record their first album called Ultima Ratio , directed by Mieszko Talarczyk ( Nasum ), which was released in August 2002, followed by a tour with Viu Drakh and Accion Mutante . In 2004 the LP / CD Music from an Extreme Sick World was released on Epistrophy , an album called Panzer was released in August 2008. In 2009 a split EP followed with the US band Desolation . In 2012 bassist Andreas K. had a fatal accident.
