Audrey Nkamsao Mbonda (born July 28, 1989 ) is a Cameroonian hurdler who specializes in the 400-meter distance , but also competes in the 400-meter run .

Athletic career

Audrey Nkamsao gained her first international experience at the 2012 African Championships in Porto-Novo , where she reached the semi-finals over 400 meters, where she was eliminated with 55.20 seconds. She was also eliminated from the 400 meter hurdles in 58.94 seconds. The following year she took part in the Francophonie Games in Nice , but did not make it into the finals in both competitions. With the 4 x 100 meter relay, however, she finished seventh in 47.23 s. In 2014 she was eliminated from the African Championships in Marrakech over 400 meters with 54.98 s in the first round, reached seventh place over the hurdles in 58.90 s and won both the 4 x 100 meter and the Four by 400 meter relay, fifth. In 2015 she took part in the Africa Games in Brazzaville and made it over 400 meters to the semi-finals, in which she was eliminated with 56.33 seconds. In addition, she classified fifth in the hurdles in 59.18 s and was disqualified with the 4 x 400 meter relay. The following year, she retired at the African Championships in Durban with 59.70 s in the first round and was sixth with the 4 x 100-meter relay in 46.23 s. At the 2017 Francophonie Games in Abidjan , she finished seventh over 400 meters in 55.74 seconds and fifth over the hurdles in 60.53 seconds. The following year she was at the African Championships in Asaba in 61.35 s seventh over the hurdles and reached the 4-by-100-meter relay in 46.26 s in fifth place.
