Audrey Reid

Audrey Reid (born March 25, 1952 in Bunkers Hill , Trelawny Parish ) is a former Jamaican high jumper and sprinter .

In 1967 she won bronze in the 4-by-100-meter relay at the Pan American Games in Winnipeg and was sixth in the high jump.

In the high jump she was eliminated from qualification at the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City and came fourth at the British Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh in 1970 . In 1971 she won the Central American and Caribbean Championships and won silver at the Pan American Games in Cali .

She finished eleventh at the 1972 Munich Olympics , and 21st at the 1976 Montreal Olympics .

In 1972 she became the US high jump champion. Her personal best of 1.85 m she set on May 21, 1976 in Wichita .
